Tuberculosis (TB) is caused by a germ that is transmitted from person to person by airborne droplets. Usually this infection is passed on as a result of very close contact, so family members of an infected person are endangered if the person continues to live in the same household and has not undergone proper treatment

Today I will discuss about the symptoms of Tuberculosis Disease so that you can perform early treatment. Here are some of the Symptoms of Tuberculosis Disease

Symptoms of active tuberculosis may be mild and include an ongoing cough for three or more weeks, fever, weight loss, night sweats, poor appetite, and fatigue. A person with tuberculosis can also cough up blood (hemoptysis) and chest pain. Tuberculosis (TB) will not cause any symptoms until the infection has reached the lungs. As the bacteria are very slow moving, your symptoms might not begin for many years after the initial exposure to the bacteria has taken place.
Bronchitis (Brong-kye-tis) is an inflammation of the air passages between the nose and the lungs, including the trachea (windpipe) and the larger air tubes of the lung that bring air in from the trachea (bronchi). Bronchitis can either be of briefduration (acute) or a long-term disease (chronic)

The Cause of Bronchitis is a virus, bacteria, and of organisms that resemble bacteria (Mycoplasma pneumoniae and Chlamydia). The severity of the disease depends on the extent of the spread of infection, which is aggravated by exposure to cold, damp and smoke. The disease becomes chronic due to recurring attacks of acute bronchitis and wrong food habits, the habitual use of refined foods such as white sugar, refined cereals and white flour products result in the accumulation of toxic matter in the system and this toxic waste collects in the bronchial tube.

In early stages of bronchitis, the coughing may not be noticeable, unless a cold or flu virus aggravates the lungs. But, at this point, it only takes a minor cold can set off flare-ups. Smoking weakens the body's ability to ward off desease of all kinds. Therefore, the single most important thing to do would be to quit smoking. After quitting smoking, you will probably quit having most of the breathing problems.

Bronchitis can be acute or chronic. Acute bronchitis comes on suddenly, often following another illness, and may be caused by a virus. An attack of acute bronchitis may be more severe, but doesn't last long. Chronic bronchitis may be caused by long-term smoking or exposure to pollutants. Although acute bronchitis may be treated with medication, there is no cure for long-term bronchitis. Below are some symptoms of Bronchitis Disease

Chronic Bronchitis Symptoms
If you have chronic bronchitis, long-term inflammation leads to scarring of the bronchial tubes, producing excessive mucus. Over time, the lining of the bronchial tubes thickens, and your airways eventually may become scarred. Signs and symptoms of chronic bronchitis may also include:

Cough that's worse in the mornings and in damp weather

Frequent respiratory infections (such as colds or the flu) with a worsening productive cough

Acute Bronchitis Symptoms
Acute bronchitis is manifested through several symptoms. This is the case with both bacterial and viral bronchitis. Acute bronchitis is caused by a virus or bacteria, but the symptoms are pretty much the same for both types of bronchitis.

Dry cough is one of the first symptoms. In the beginning, your cough can be dry, but later on it can be accompanied by mucus production. Mucus can be yellow, clear or even green.

Fever, increased body temperature and other flu-like symptoms are also common in people who develop acute bronchitis. You may also feel generally weak.

Breathing difficulties, including short breath can also start bothering you. These symptoms will probably last more than two weeks. Do not let this happen. Visit your doctor and start your treatment in time.
http://feeds.feedburner.com/evadianita
Eva Dianita Newshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04342961585284090791noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8621407011656264113.post-44025556715008924672011-02-21T13:13:00.000-08:002011-03-08T13:15:06.394-08:00Tuberculosis.

http://feeds.feedburner.com/evadianita
Eva Dianita Newshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04342961585284090791noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8621407011656264113.post-47244310107195448472011-02-21T12:48:00.000-08:002011-03-08T13:09:50.427-08:00Pneumonia Symptoms

Pneumonia Symptoms. This disease is caused by the infection of the lungs. In this disease, the alveoli of the lungs in an affected person are filled with fluid and restrict oxygen from mixing with the bloodstream. The victims of infectious pneumonia suffer from heavy cough and spit phlegm. They may also suffer from high fever accompanied with chills. As the illness progresses, patients tend to experience some or all of the following pneumonia symptoms:

difficult or labored respiration (dyspnea) leading to respiratory failure

fever

hypersensitivity or allergic reactions

papules, pustules, plaques, ulcers, abscesses, or lesions on the skin

Viral Pneumonia Symptoms
Infections caused by viruses tend to develop more slowly, after a few days of flu-like symptoms. They can cause a hacky or barky cough, headache, and pain under the breastbone. Other symptoms of viral pneumonia include:

chills
